Anyways, I've gotta agree that the second one looks far better. The only thing I can really see wrong with it is just a preference on my part, personally, I think you should add a bit more detail to the metal plating of the head. In contrast to the hair and face, it just seems too quick and flat.
Just a preference, though.

That makes any tag look bad.
The first one just has some weird effects that make it look weird. =/ The colors are nice though.
The second one is better, though the text isnt that great.
