when do you use voice chat on Metroid Prime Hunters anyway? is it between the matches or something? i play MPH on wifi every now and then, and I've never used the voice chat or heard other people using it.
You can only do it with friends.

I have to admit that I wasn't that excited about this game previously because I thought it was just a port of an outdated game that happens to have online play that I can easily get the same experience on Mario kart, but after reading more on the game I'm rather interested and eager to play

If the feature only exists on two games, it's obviously not very hyped or popular. In order for something to be overrated, it has to be hyped or popular, otherwise it's just plain bad/useless/etc. without actually being overrated.
