Ryu: I've seen the first movie, it was pretty good and I'd definitely recommend seeing it. Though, I heard the 2nd movie was horrible. Wouldn't know though, haven't seen it yet myself. I think I once heard of a BR manga though, but never got into it, cause I'm not really that much into manga.
Little trivia; the movie was based on a novel, as was the manga. And the actress that plays Takako Chigusa (also featured in the manga) is played by the same girl who played Gogo in Kill Bill Vol: 1.
